where is a door more than a door? in tunisia. a tunisian door is a symbol. we learned that for tunisians, the house door reflects the luck and happiness that the inhabitants of the house may have. a house whose door has "bad luck" does not warrant occupying and should be deserted as soon as possible.
makes me wonder about the ugly fake wood door on my office.
anyway, here are some doors. we thought we would make a really cool photo essay, but we didn't. instead we just took some pictures of doors. maybe dianna will have something to say later, but for now...
