paul finally resigned. but i have to say i am kinda disgusted that he could act so immorally and cast such a huge cloud over the bank and leave with people saying that he "acted in what he believed was in the best interest of the bank" and "In a statement released [Thursday] night, the board conceded that 'a number of mistakes were made by a number of individuals in handling the matter under consideration,' and the bank would need to improve its ethical procedures." to top it all off he walks away with a $370+K golden parachute to set him up to make millions giving speeches. thanks paul for making the world a more corrupt and war ridden place. we owe you for creating the situation in iraq and now for being the bastion of corruption at the bank designed to help the world become more honest. you are a real hero!
